Movie Story

Jawan (transl. Soldier) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Principal photography commenced in September 2021 with filming taking place in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Jawan was initially planned to release on 2nd June 2023 but was postponed due to post-production needing more work. It is now scheduled for theatrical release on 7th September 2023, coinciding with Janmashtami.

Jawan is an upcoming 2023 Hindi action thriller with Shahrukh Khan in the lead role, directed by Atlee Kumar. Jawan is said to be a heist drama with the backdrop of revenge. Shah Rukh Khan will be essaying two characters in the movie. The movie is produced by Gauri Khan.
